Chemical Peel Pre-Treatment Instructions
Please review these important guidelines before your chemical peel treatment
Please Inform Us If You Have:
These conditions may affect your treatment
- •Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- •Any recent facial surgical procedures
- •Herpes Simplex/ Prone to cold sores
- •Keloid scarring
- •Thyroid Conditions
- •Hyperpigmentation tendencies
- •If you have dark skin
- •Use of Accutane in the last 24 months
- •Use of steroids like prednisone
- •If you are HIV positive or have AIDS
- •Diabetes or any auto immune disease
- •Radiation or chemo therapy in the last 12 months
- •Microdermabrasion/other peels within the last 2 weeks
One to Two Weeks Before Treatment
Avoid the following treatments and products
- •Waxing, depilatories, electrolysis, or laser hair removal on treated area for two weeks
- •No sun exposure or tanning for one week
- •Laser skin rejuvenation on treated area for two weeks
- •Botox® & Dermal Filler Injections on or around the treated area for two weeks
- •Tretinoin or any retinoic acid derivatives (Renova, Refissa, Retinol, Atralin, Avita, Tazorac or Avage, Ziana), Azelex, or Differin for two weeks
